Thomas Alva Edison was born in Ohio, USA on February 11, 1847. It was a great inventor, scientist and entrepreneur, created over a thousand inventions in his lifetime, one every fortnight.
He began working on the railroad tracks and empty wagon used as a laboratory for his experiments. After saving a child on the railroad tracks, began his career as the father of the child who was saved telegraph station and he learned to handle it, after a few years he worked as a telegrapher.Edison was partially deaf due to a railroad employed grabbed him by the ears to try to upload it to a carriage of a train.
His nickname was "The Wizard of Menlo Park" was one of the inventors who contributed most to change the life of man. He is credited with numerous inventions that contributed to mass communication, and, notably telecommunications.Some of these inventions include the phonograph, the dictaphone, the bulb ...
Thomas Alva Edison died on October 18, 1931 (84 years) in New Jersey.
