- WELFARE STATE: is a concept of government where the state plays a key role in the protection and promotion of the economic and social well-being of its citizens.

- HEALTH SERVICES: is the name commonly used to refer to the four single-payer publicly funded healthcare systems in United Kingdom, collectively or individually, although only the health service in England uses the name 'National Health Service' without further qualification.
- HOUSEHOLD CONSUMPTION: is a transaction of the national account's use of income account representing consumer spending.
- INTEREST RATE: is the price a borrower pays for the use of money they borrow from a lender, for instance a small company might borrow capital from a bank to buy new assets for their business, and the return a lender receives for deferring the use of funds, by lending it to the borrower.
- TERTIARISATION: is an economic and social transformation that affects the most developed countries since the last phase of the industrial revolution (third industrial revolution).
- MOTORWAY: is a dual carriageway limited access highway with grade separated junctions designed and built solely for motorised traffic.

exercise 1: quite well but there are some mistakes in health services and household consumption. GATT definition is too brief.
in exercise 2: you should say: " UK suffered a tertiarisation" and " UK is an underdeveloped country" but this is wrong, UK is a developed country that give a lot of services to its citizens
in exercise 3: you should say: "It is cheaper to use the car for short distances,train for medium distances and pipelines and ships for long distances"
